Are these Ontario mortgage calculators accurate?

Yes — each calculator uses the standard Canadian mortgage formula with semi-annual compounding, the current CMHC premium tiers, the 2026 Ontario and Toronto LTT rate structures, and the B-20 stress test qualifying rate (contract rate + 2% or 5.25%, whichever is higher). Results match what your lender will show in a commitment letter.

Do these calculators include the B-20 stress test?

Yes. The Maximum Mortgage Calculator and Required Income Calculator both apply the B-20 stress test by default — showing your qualification at both your actual contract rate and the stress-tested rate. This gives you the most accurate picture of what you can borrow under current OSFI regulations.

Is there a Toronto land transfer tax calculator here?

Yes — the Land Transfer Tax Calculator includes both the Ontario provincial LTT and the Toronto Municipal Land Transfer Tax. Select City of Toronto to see both taxes calculated and combined. First-time buyer rebates up to $8,475 are applied automatically.
